I don't know if there is anything that can be done for recruits that the NCAA doesn't already have total jurisdiction over.

Funny thing is that most of the kids on that 7th and 8th grade list I've been told couldn't be a starter on most schools in Texas. It's all hype and whatever max preps writer happens to be around that you can blow smoke about your kid to. Who is really to say what kid will be worth recruiting later. It's usually the kids with the hairy legs early that stand out but most you never hear about later. The late bloomers pass them by. There are some exceptions

Matt the stuff in there about 7 on 7 coupled with the Adidas thing makes me worry about the future of it. I have always loved 7 on 7, but I am beginning to wonder how much longer Brownwood will take part in the SQT's and the State Tourney.
