I think it's quite obvious by comparing these two polls that FNF has the pulse of 3A much moreso than does DCTF this season. JMO, but I agree with MOST of the FNF Top 15. Past that, it gets really tough to rate teams.

I agree with regal eagle. The FNF top 25 seems much more though out.

I think DCTF has WOS way to low. Stark will have a lights out defense this year. If they can put some offensive production along with it, watch out.

Coldspring and Alverado are the ones that jumps out to me. Someone is missing the mark big time.

Coldspring, Navasota, & La Marque will get a chance to prove they belong in weeks 1 & 2. I am really looking foward to some great football!

Sept 7- Coldspring @ Navasota
Sept 14- Coldspring @ La Marque

This should give us an idea of what each team has.

Lucky you!! Trying to get down 45 after work will be impossible. So, Navasota's homecoming versus Houston Sterling is where I will be. I can't wait to hear your assessment of the La Marque/Coldspring game.

The one team I dont agree with on FNF is Coldspring being that low

I have some friends from Coldspring. They too think that the Trojans will be "down" this year.

Not to mention if Navasota goes small school you're looking at a possible LM-CS matchup in Week 12 and a LM/CS winner vs. Navasota in Week 13.

True. But, I wouldn't rule Madisonville out just yet. I wouldn't at all be surprised if Navasota/Rockdale/Madisonville made the top 3 in that district.

Columbia FINALLY getting some love from FNF. I like it!

No one seems to be on board even after these last 2 seasons.

I think what probably hurts Columbia is the perception that Region IV isn't as strong as Region III (the last 2 years) and the fact that LaMarque is dropping into their district. LM coming down is definitely stealing their thunder in my opinion.

The good news is that if they beat LaMarque in LaMarque on November 2 they will get a whole lot of respect really fast.
