For some reason I thought this was a three game series. Kinsler had a nice day, Darvish pitched well and let's hope Napoli is just getting started with another 2nd half power surge.

Anyone else getting annoyed that the media seems to be so on the jock of LAAA?

They've been on a great tear since the end of May, but guess what. Mid-May the Rangers lead was 4.5 games. LAAAA goes on a hellacous tear, and guess what the Rangers lead is to start this series - 6! And that's with half the line up being in one of the worst slumps of their career.

The Rangers are clearly the better team and don't look now, but a Ranger win and an Oak win and LAAAA is in 3rd place. Just seems like the national media is really reluctant to give Texas any credit what so ever.

Mac, want to agree because I hate all the negative media for Rangers. But lately seems like Rangers are getting some props. Still hate all the red sox, yankee, detroit, etc love fest from most of national media.

Winning a World Series might help.

Just heard on the Astros telecast that Roy O has been scratched from his scheduled start tomorrow against the Red Sox. Not considered serious, but tightness in his much troubled back. Damn...

Winning the pennant two years in a row should account for something.

Winning the pennant two years in a row should account for something.

You'd think it would but with that being said all the teams mentioned have won it all and then some. To truly establish themselves my opinion is they need to do the same.
