Like the stripes down the shoulders. Reminiscient of the Emory Bellard-era 1970's unis

I like the fact that they didn't get too carried away with a redesign.. i.e. Oregon Ducks.

"Adidas Lone Star TECHFIT" :evillol:

Am I the only one who caught that? As a Texas fan I can still find that to be humerus!

When did they go back to grey mask instead of white?

At least they brought them from an American company unlike our olympics team officials who brought our athletes' attire from China (and they could have got them cheaper in the USA). Disgraceful indeed.

Now the saying is "Buy America - except for US Olympic team per the directors."

reminded me of a saying at the golf course about people who "dress to shoot 70 but can't break 100".....

I hope Sumlin gets this team competitive and shows the SEC a brand of football our Texas boys can play, regardless of the unis. I'm a Longhorn fan forever, but I'm still Texan thru and thru. Go get em, AGS! Good luck to you in the SEC. This season starts a new day in college football for all of us who are Texans.

Get ready to reach for tissues Bwd when I tell you what happened in the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. The US Olympics Committee who is always asking for money spent part of the donations to bring the Romanian Gymnastic team to the Olympics because Romania was broke at the time and couldn't send them. They proceeded to win medals in women's events instead of our athletes. Sad news indeed when our money was used to fund competitors. Plus I don't think that we were ever thanked.

If I had been President at the time, Romania could expect a few cruise missiles coming their way

Actually I think as far as sporting events that was a class act by the USA. If they beat us its our fault.....and then I would say "dont do that again"! ;)

Back on Topic. Sumlin is bringing in the Spread Offense , UH and TTU style, to a team that is built to run. They will the only up temp team in the SEC. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Adidas is a German company
Regardless, uniforms look pretty solid minus the striped undershirt. Hopefully they lose those after a few games.

What worries me is that someone is going to show Americans winning gold medal on youtube and have the background music being the Chinese national anthem. :(

Overall I like their new unis. Wouldn't have gone with the beveled numbers though...

I think there are more uptempo offenses in the SEC than most people give them credit for. Auburn's offense tries to run 80 plays per game. New OC Brent Pease at Florida, Ole Miss' Hugh Freeze, Mississippi State's Dan Mullen, Arkansas' Bobby Petrino, and Mizzou will all run or try to run (the case with Mullen--personnel has been his biggest problem) uptempo offenses.

That said, I think the physicality of SEC ball will be tough for the Ags to adjust to. The Ags have plenty of skill and enough speed to play in the SEC, but they're going to have to adjust to the contact.
