22-0 on the season for 7 on 7.

This isnt real football I know. Thats actually when I think our team is at its best (contact). Some big strong kids with talent around them.

I think Ville/Alvarado game could be a dog fight. This Alvarado defense is going to be stout, offense is going to be better than what alot of people think also.

Was that your JV team that came to Bwd. last week? Someone said it was a mixture of JV and Varsity.

Careful throwing your shoulder out patting yourself on the back. The first half we were not playing our main guys much. Second half we did to get ahead then we rotated back.

Yes it was JV. No varsity that I know of.

It's all good. Maybe we'll get to be pool mates. I guess we find out on Saturday.

Ville, I had a convo with a die hard stephenville fan yesterday and he was pretty sure you guys would win it all and would have little opposition. I know the coaches and players don't think that but is that the thoughts of the majority of fans there?

People are real excited in Stephenville maybe because we won't have to see Aledo in the playoffs. Gettin beat by the champs 3 years in a row is no fun.

Got a good group of young men that are extremely humble and hungry for a chance to be successful.

I talked to a guy from Carthage in the airport yesterday and he said that they (Carthage) would be the State Champs again this year; and just like when they dominated Brownwood in '10 they would have no problem with Stephenville this year (and next)..

I saw a friend of mine at the grocery store this afternoon and he said he got 2" of rain at his place this weekend.
