Yea the games start at 9:00AM. Our pool will be inside the stadium closest to the locker rooms.

I would say Bwood is almost a lock to qualify in this one. All yall have to do is beat Clifton in Pool play then the winner of pool B. I bet the Bwood-Sville pool game will be spirited to say the least.

I agree the game will be spirited. However, since we are trying to break in 3 Qb's, I may get the order to play the least experienced one for reps since that game does not count. We shall see.

Interesting yet makes since. The Ville could be doing the same since they've already qualified but then again, they may not want to spoil their undefeated status. ;)

Clifton QB is good. Just saw him again this week at Air It Out in Austin. Passed for over 1500 yds as a sophomore. His receiving core is down a bit, though.

The pools were changed because a team couldn't make it.
Stephenville was in with Graham, Comanche, and Dublin. Stephenville won all 3 of their games easily. Graham was undefeated coming into the tournament.

Brownwood was in with Clifton, Eastland and Tolar. Brownwood lost to Clifton and Eastland and were about to play Tolar when I left.

Stephenville looked very strong! They can score at will. Gunter and Brown were not playing. They will be the team to beat in the 7 on 7 state tournament. I can say that Stephenville will be loaded this Fall and has quite a few underclassmen for the next couple of years.

Yeah, Brownwood is a work progress. Throw and catch is not their strong point from what I saw. Hope there's a running game for the Fall.

Our best WR was not playing this week. Aside from that we were just in a bad funk Saturday. We did not play anywhere near the way we did against All Saints the previous week. We will be just fine in the fall.
