Their is a very GOOD ex-owlplayer that is very good at coaching..He is a coach at another school.I would never bet against this coach cause, he is very smart at what he does and Hondo could really benefit from this coach...He is a big time motivator...He is the kind of coach that will out smart you when you least expected...

Is Hondo getting some of the Eagle Ford Shale influx in their town? Here in Yoakum, we are and they are using it for the kids. Turf field/girls softball facilities/HS in the near future.

Hondo Owls have a new AD..Jeff Rochat..Like i said, they stayed in house..Will see if he can turn the program around..Has not coached in awhile..He was Defense Cor.in 2006..Hope he has that fire in coaching and all those razzle dazzle plays he shows his boys minor flag football...LOL...Go Owls...;)

Good luck to Hondo Lost Owls. Hope they continue the success. Don't know alot about this new guy, but---wish him well. Did he get out of coaching there and just teach/principal or just retired for awhile?
