Anybody out there know the speed limit coming out of Cameron going south on Hwy. 36 over the Longbridge?

60. It does not hit 70 until after the 79/36 split.

Well that will double the fine,
Thanks for the input. I was hoping the officer had the wrong speed limit on the ticket.

Yeah, it has been 60 for a while now over the bridge. They usually patrol that area along with 77 heading out of town towards Waco(now that is has been moved to 60 from out of town to the 485 intersection).

Those sheriffs are annoying.

Multiple fatality accidents at 77/489 intersection will do that. The same for the "77"/36 split. I don't know why thye didn't build an overpass at both intersections.

I admit to 75, bit the officer says it was 81. Dang cruise control speed just kept on climbing. I knew it would be bad at 75 so I didn't argue the point, when he said it was 81 I said what, no way but didnt realize that "bumping my speed up over 80 added another $100.00. Live and learn, when I go visit my parents in Sealy I always drive slower than the limit, that place has become the speed trap capital of Texas, I have even seen them hiding in the cemetary and behind the hall by the little league fields.
