This is from YT Bulldog.. Please keep Missy in your prayers

"Missy (my wife)
44, please keep Missy in your thoughts and prayers. She came home 2 weeks ago after 65 days in hospital from ruptured bowel due to her Crohns Disease. Well, she was having trouble breathing, I took her back to Seton in Austin, and a blood clot was found in her lung. They said it had passed through her heart, and amazing no damage was caused. They also found another pocket of infection near the spleen, but---due to being placed on blood thinner for the clotting issue, they cannot go in right now and remove that infection. She has started a fever (103) and just hope they freaking know what they are doing. Missy has been through hell. Her stomach is damaged, massive scarring and pooping in a bag (that's her words and never wanted that). But, my honey is still alive and giving it hell. She want's to see Jake play his senior year against them Gob's she said. Amazing spirit and will to live.

If ya like, you can cut and paste this up on the board. The last round of prayers worked from the 3A DL crew. She's at Seton Hospital in Austin.

Thanks, and GOD's love to all,

Thanks all. The power of prayer is amazing and I've seen it work these past few months. Seen blessing while enduring some set backs. GOD is wonderful. Today, Missy is having another drain put in her lower left abdomen. The infection pocket near her spleen, they are not attempting to remove yet. Hoping the antibiotic they started will control it till she's off the blood thinner. The clot in lung is nearly gone.

As of 9:30 AM this morning, Missy has just gone in for another surgery (drainage line for her lower right abdomen is being reinserted, she's had 7 of these during this battle) to remove that new flared up infection pocket. She also has another pocket near her spleen, but--due to being on blood thinner (for her blood clots) and it would required a more invasion procedure to get into that area, they are leaving it alone for the time being. Hopefully, the antibiotics they will re-start will help reduce the infection here until they can get a drain into this pocket?

Fingers crossed. Missy is getting emotional and tired I think. What a trooper she has been the past 3 months of battle. She should be out of surgery by noon today.

Praying they get as much fluid off her abdomen as possible. I know how it has been as my Aunt is going through the same thing.
