I bet if we don't catch this first time around, there will probably be about 30-40 other opportunities to see it this summer, along with the special fuedin' edition of Pawn Stars!

This is part of my family history....a spoiler alert at least one big named actor will not make it to the end of Wednesday's show.

And to think, a fight over a hog re-kindled the feud after the initial fight. These folks were serious about their pork, don't ya think.

That's a shame. Hey weren't they room mates in college?

That is the way to do it SHS. Plus I am sure that as each new episode is shown the first 15 minutes usually bring us up to date.

Loved the show but it was obvious that Rosemary was going to be knocked up by a Hatfield in the show when her father said she was his favorite. Can't wait to watch pt 2 tonight.

Everyone at work was talking about this all night long. Apparently it is kind of a big deal around these parts.

Uncle Jim Hatfield seems to be the one who keeps everything stirred up.

The three instigator's

Yeah Jim Vance did stir it up. Perry Cline and Frank Phillips were stirring it up on the McCoy side.

Perry Cline was secretly working with the railroad trying to make money while Frank Phillips wanted the fame and become sheriff.

Here is a link to the family tree so you can see who is with who http://www.history.com/shows/hatfields-and-mccoys/interactives/hatfields-and-mccoys-whos-who

Okay, I watched part 1 last night, DVR'd part 2 for tonight and set part 3 to record. I think the character I like best is Judge Hatfield (I hope nobody shoots him).

Sinton66 would have loved this series!:)

we watched part 1 and 2 last night.. Can't wait for part 3 .. I too love the Judge (Powers Boothe) that shister lawyer (Cline) is a snake.. and ain't no way in hell I am crossing Uncle Jim (Tom Berrenger) that is one crazy SOB! Another instigator is the McCoy girl that Johnsee (sp) married and Uncle Jim horse whipped.. One of the funnier scenes last night was when the girl at the whorehouse was crying to cousin Cotton that she loved JOhnsee but all he could do was think about Roseann and she didn't understand why and Cotton said - "Cause you're a whore" she said - yea, but still" lol

I really liked the whole series and 44 I laughed about that line. Cause you're a whore. Coming from Cotton made it awesome.

Did ya'll know Powers Booth is from Snyder? I kept waiting for him to twist one of the McCoys ankles in a fight. Then we would have known where that Snyder tradition came from.
