With several school's going with indoor practice facilities over the last several years it got me to thinking.....when will we have a high school build an enclosed football stadium? (Doesn't have to be a dome)

Now I know 1A Mason has a stadium with an awning, but not a complete roof.

Does anyone else see this coming about in the future?

I hope not, personally I like outdoor stadiums. The atmosphere of being in the cold, heat, rain, etc... is high school football. But it could be possible in one of the more affluent schools.

This would be great if you could have the roof retractable.

I just alluded to that on a post i made in another thread. I believe within the next 15 years we will see it.

Lion don't let the classification fool you. Tenaha has one of the better looking gyms around and it has dome style seating.

I think that a 1 or 2a team will be the most likely to get a dome stadium due to low seat capacity. I would not be surprised at all if our neighbors south of us (Tenaha) is the first to have one. I may be the size of y'alls practive facility but i can see it. Speaking of practice facility, I think the henderson/carthage "heated" rivalry officially died when we asked you guys to use your practice facilities. When I first found out i wanted to throw up.

LOL I thought the same thing its came around since carthage burned a C in our field. This idea didn't go well with the older lions. Maybe Carthage can return the favor and let us use their statium lol cause our kinda bites. I am still mad Henderson and Carthage do not play this year .

I guarantee that if Henderson didn't have a good run and win it all that year they would have said no and rightfully so. Yeah I think I was a freshmen the year the C was burned in your field. A playoff meeting between us will make up for us not scheduling one another but I think Kilgore will mess that up.

You can fit a lot of trailers under that shed.

The list shows a track but I can't see it in the photo. This looks like an old time rodeo arena.
