Smithville coach takes Ballinger Job

Looks like Smithville lost their head coach over the weekend:

He finally got them turned around and then goes back to his home town. Going to have a big impact on the Tigers!

With the former HC bailing this late on Smithville, might be wise to try the current DC as HC. Better than changing everything now IMO.

Next years Senior's is the class that has made the difference in this football program, after next year talent drops off big time. The last 2 Senior classes ahead of this one had some parents that kept their kids involved in sports during the summer, football and baseball. That made a big difference, I know the town well from my old days and lets just say they like to party.
