Does Orangefield have a good enough secondary to stop Hardin Jefferson?

Orangefield has given up only 248 yards through the air this year. How good is H-J's passing attack? Orangefield held Anahuac's passing attack to under 100 yards. The question may be is H-J's secondary good enough to stop Orangefield's passing attack?

I think they are going to be ok.. Only if there Defensive Coordinator puts them into position to make plays????? :o

I look for OF to have no trouble controlling H-J this year. They were really an easy victory for BC. OF would have to have a bad passing game or lose the discipline and get a lot of major infractions to lose this game. Go Bobcats. get ready for the Playoffs!

hamshire fannett was an easy game for bc this year too, but that doesn't speak for what happen to orangefield. i look for hj to play orangefield tough personally.

This is a big game for Orangefield. I see the cats winning this one, but if they lose, and HF finishes out with wins, believe it or not, Orangefield would be 4th in the district. This is a HUGE game for the Bobcats. BC and Anahuac should win this week for sure, and the BC/Anahuac game somebody will get the loss, but they will both be in the playoffs, as a result of beating HF. Like I said, I think the cats should win, but they had better bring everything they have against HJ

Here's a boxscore for ya...

Bridge City Orangefield
First Downs 11 15
Rushes - Yards 39 - 156 33 - 209
Comp-Att-Int 3 - 6 - 0 10 - 20 - 0
Passing yards 9 112
Punts-avg. 5 - 41.0 3 - 26.0
Fumbles-lost 0 - 0 0 - 0
Penalties-yards 5 - 35 12 - 115

As far as that Hamshire Fannett game goes, Orangefield ran into a team that has really played well as of late. I think their clicking on all cylinders now and it's probably good that both Bridge City and Anahauc played them early in the season. If they played them now, it might be a different story. Just my take! I thought they were one of the best teams we've played all year. Bottomline you can't judge how one team plays another and vice versa. Matchups and injuries and other things play major roles in winning ball games. H-F had our number that night, just like we had Bridge City's and Anahuac's. NO ONE gave this team a chance to win those games, but they did. Same goes for this week, a lot of people are picking H-J to win. That's how it's been all year long, why change things now. I think our team likes that role.

I'm going to make a prediction on this game, only because I am 7-1 on the season. A lot of determining factors going into this game. Also, with that being said, a lot is at stake for both teams. Hardin Jefferson will have to play their best game this year, if they do stand any chance. Orangefield will have to play as good if not better than any game they have played as well. These two teams match up very well on both sides of the ball. Look for big plays to be the big factor in the outcome of this game. The team who comes up big on 3rd Down stops will win this one. Also, maybe a score on special teams will help as well. Although I feel as if Orangefield is the better team, I am going with an upset.

Yeah, as well as me. Alright, things have really gotten complicated now in this district race, lol.

So, someone run down the records, possible playoff teams, and in what order the teams will be, unless that is impossible as of now?
Man, this district is all outta wack!

OF lost throws district 21 up for grabs now. So now Anahuac is in the drivers seat and HF is back in the race. Next week will be interesting
