Anybody going to any? Burnet will have their 12th annual camp In June. Burnet kids are pretty much expected to be there. They've always been pretty good camps. Burnet coaches work their tails off to make this camp fun & successful. Will be interesting to see how new HC runs it. Supposed to have a few celebs show up. My guess is Stephen McGee and/or Jordan Shipley.
Burnet Football camp cost = $45.00 (3 day event)

Now we have a new kid in town with his act. Todd Dodge will be doing his annual QB / Receiver camp at Marble Falls High in June as well.
Marble Falls Football camp cost = $150.00 (4 day event)

My kid will for sure attend Burnet's camp. And with him being groomed as a receiver, and if I can in any way afford it, I'll take him to Dodgy's camp too. But with college tuition for my other kids basically killing me, this one might be tough to make. $150.00 pays for at least the cover of one textbook!.... Anybody got any part-time jobs out there? lol....Greendawg, how bout a loan??.... dammit!.......

Just graduated a kid from A&M.... chu ching$$$ Though he is headed to medical school, for the most part, he is footing that bill. Between that and bucking for a considerable raise this year, I feel like Bill Gate$.

We have a group of boys headed to Air It Out at Austin Westlake in June. Excellent camp. Lots of reps.

Texas Football Academy will have combines and camps this summer. Steve Gideon retired Leander coach runs it. They are good with quality teaching. They are usually more affordable than most camps. TFA also coaches kids through out the year (2 sessions per week in LH) with skills training for all positions. They have a website: www.texasfootballacademy.com. Good news Cam, its located in LH and kids from all over Austin area attend. Best of all, something you dont hear often: "its a short drive from Burnet".

Cam, for what ever its worth, my son has attended Dodge's camp while in Southlake. It was probably the most intense and beneficial quarterback, receiver camps that we tried. While many of the summer camps are good, are helpful and less costly, it's been my experience that you kind of get what you pay for.

I agree with you Olddawg on the "you get what you pay for"....believe me, if there's any way I can get my 12 yr. old to that camp or any other, I will. He's definitely going to the Burnet camp. That camp is where the bonding with his teammates begins......

Yes Cam, the Burnet Camp will be the most important to your son, I know Coach Jones will put on a quality camp.
