shallowater 54 - Perryton 52 Dimmit 71- Sanford Fritch 39 OUCH !!!!! Perryton led the game the whole way until the last 2 min. With 19 sec on the clock,tied at 52-52 Perryton ball at half court, we go ahead and shoot with 6 sec left!!!!! Imagine that!!! We were in 1-1 so everything was to our advantage. But, who says basketball isn't a thinking game? So with 6 sec. left somehow, I don't know how it all happened so fast , the best shooter on the team was wide open and pulled up at the freethrow line and shot and scored!My Lord, I was actually having visions of Perryton at the Regional Tourny for the First time in 10 years. That was a heck of a way to lose. Oh well, at least Perryton didn't get smoked like Fritch. Gee, and to think they were a ranked team!!!!! Now I look foward to FOOTBALL.
