My guess: Game originally scheduled to play at Lufkin. Bad weather approaching. Move game to Burnett. Move time to 10:00 to accommodate moving venue. Late start usually indicates one or both of the teams wants a three-game series; have to get game in before 12:00 midnight. In the mean time, Lorena vs Rusk at Ennis gets rained out; game moved to dry Lufkin complex for 9:00 pm start. Lorena wins.

i think it is Bullard vs Lorena, not Rusk. Rusk is now sitting at home after last week.

Pretty much dead on except there was a 2A double header before our game Cisco vs somebody else. Yea we were very suspicious at Lorena going to play on Hudson's dry field. Hudson coach got exactly what he was angling for; playing the IF game first while burning out our pitching (we used 5 pitchers including game 2 starter), getting a short bus ride before Saturdays game,( I don't know where they stayed on such short notice), keeping our kids up until 5:00 am. He wouldn't budge on the one game vs best of three. He was looking as far as Lubbock for a field. Todays game time was moved to 3:00 pm, still at China Spring.

China Spring won the 2nd game 9 to 7 to close out the Hornets.
