Spring Hill beats Carthage on Friday nite to share the 16-3A District title, then wins tonite 7-6 in a playoff to determine the top seed in that district. Carthage loses 2 in a row to SH, changing the brackets in Region 2, and the rankings.

Saw this on the 3Abaseball site, I believe Carthage won the the game with SH earlier in the season. Wasn't such a surprise that SH won considering they have a very good baseball program, but to beat the #1 team back to back was impressive. Great way to gain some momentum going into the playoffs!

In a warmup game for each team on Tues. nite, Robinson defeated Argyle 4-3. Robinson is now 23-1, while Argyle goes to 21-6. Robinson's only loss this season was to a very good West team earlier in the season before district play. Only 2 teams(West & Argyle) have played Robinson within a run all season. This game was a good measuring stick for both teams before the playoffs begin.
