Mavs actually match up well...they lost season series 3-1 but every game was close including a buzzer beater

I think that who ever wins game 1 will take the series. As always I'll be pulling for the Mavs.

It'll be tough sledding for the Mavs or anybody else against this Thunder team this year. At least Dirk and the boys got theirs last year...finally.

What do you think will happen coach? The Mavs, unless they just play a WHOLE LOT better than they have all year, will be lucky to win one game in this series. IF they play like I know their capable, I think they can win 2, maybe even win the series. BUT, I can't see that happening because the Mavs just haven't shown the hunger, or the ability to sustain that kind of intensity this year. They might get swept, but then again.....who knows?

Hahaha, I fell for it, too. I was thinking about a five-game series like it used to be in the first round, too. Thunder in a sweep, or maybe the Mavs can win one or two, we'll see.

Everybody (including me) was calling for the Mavs to be beaten quickly by Portland in the first round last year also........ I don't like what I've seen from this team late this season but I also didn't care for how they limped into the playoffs last year. Anything can happen! I will be a happy camper no matter what happens as long as The HEAT don't get a title................................ If the Heat get taken out in the first round i would dance naked in the streets! Well, not really naked! I would keep my thong on..................:D

It would please me, too, IF the Heat AND the Lakers did NOT win titles. I'm seeing a San Antonio / Chicago matchup in the finals this year.
