NFL Draft- Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys will pick at No. 14 in the first round, unless Jerry decides to change things....Sure hope they use the pick on an impact player like safety Barron of Alabama, if he's still there. The Cowboys have been a study in mediocrity in the draft with the possible exception of Demarcus Ware, and it has showed over the last 14 seasons. I think they need to concentrate on the best immediate impact players available and quit trying to get a bunch of "diamond in the rough" players. We shall see tonight.

Yeah I'm betting that Barron is already off the board once Dallas picks at 14. I see them trading down if Barron is gone.

Almost everything I read says Barron will be gone by the time Dallas picks. I think Barron would be an instance upgrade for the defense and will keep my fingers crossed.

I think someone will move up just before the Cowboys pick and nab Barron. My money is on the Cowboys selecting either Guard David DeCastro or Cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick.

While I like Barron, I'm not sure he is the answer anyway. He is a strong safety. Dallas needs a free safety. One that came roam the field and help with pass defense.

I hope they draft the best player available and under no circumstances trade away their future. It is especially critical not to give up first round picks.

Cowboys get a great pick in Clayborn. He might be the best first round pick in the Jerry Jones era.
