I knew the Rangers would be good this year, but they have by far done better than I would have thought this early in the season. I realize the will slow down eventually espacially when they go through the second time around against teams, but hopefully like Nolan says they can take the series each time.

There is a psychological edge and confidence factor that will help the Rangers all season long now with the fast start. It should help the team immensely if they can keep their core players healthy. The other teams in the West are playing major catch-up already, and the season is not 20 games deep yet. The longer the Rangers can keep this type of advantage in games, the tougher it will be on the rest of the West to just find their groove and play their games.

Im shocked at the start of LAA. They could get hot like the Rangers are now, but LA is gonna have to get help in the bullpen.

This laa teamreminds me of the rangers back when they first signed a rod.....alot o names but not alot of worker bee guys needed to win game I and game out

I still cringe about the A Rod signing. Are the Rangers still paying part of his salary? Lol..

I don't know, but it was a MAJOR LEAGUE contract, no pun intended. And it's been what...5 years now since he was traded. Surely the contract is now defunct.

No. He was paid off in the reorganization when Ryan bought the team.

Rangers struggling a bit (4-6) lately and Yu losing his first game today. Nice to have a bit of a cushion on the lead and none of the other teams making a strong surge.
