District 11 3-A has finally worked itself out. Because Lovejoy beat the Farmers 4-1 on Friday night to create a 2-way tie for second place they had to play a single game playoff. I am happy to say the Farmers prevailed over the Lovejoy team by a score of 9-5 and are now the 2nd place team in the district.

Prosper= 8-2, 23-4
Farmers= 7-3, 22-6
Lovejoy= 7-3, 18-9

Congrats Farmers! Good luck in the playoffs.

Sinton hosts Bishop today in DH warm-up games. Start @ 1p Warm up Game 1: Bishop 5 Sinton 1 (Game was tied 1-1 heading to the 7th) Hieme Perez (6-1) went the full 7 innings.

Warm up Game 2: Sinton 7 Bishop 1 (Trey Burk(2-1) went 4 innings without giving up a hit and Trey Gallegos(SV 2) went the final 3 innings giving up 1 hit in the 7th as Bishop broke up the no hit bid.)

Sinton doesn't play for a while, so most likely should be another warm up game later in the week.
