THSCA Football All-Star Game to feature 13 area standouts
Thirteen area players were selected to play in the 78th Texas High School Coaches Association All-Star Football Classic.
That includes All-Greater Houston picks Ryan Jackson (Angleton), Dallas McCarty (Clear Springs), Trent Momon (Hempstead) and Taylor Romero (Manvel).
The game will be held in conjunction with the THSCA Coaching School and Convention from July 29-Aug. 1 in San Antonio. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., July 31 at the Alamodome.
The South team will be coached by Cibolo Steele’s Mike Jinks and the North will be coached by Abilene Wylie’s Hugh Sandifer.
