Score was tied 0-0 and went to extra innings. With bases loaded & 2 outs, LH's Hester pops it up to right field. Three Badgers converge under the ball, and somehow, they all miss it & runner comes in to make it 1-0 Liberty Hill, preserving the undefeated district record. :clap:

In District 30AAA Baseball last night it was Ingleside 8 Mathis 4. Ingleside is 5-3 in District with two games left while Mathis is 3-5. I was told that Aransas Pass plays Sinton in Sinton tonight but that is second hand information.

This cinches at least a co-championship in district for Sinton. If Ingleside catches them Sinton owns the tie breaker. If Sinton wins one of its' last two games it win the district outright. Hopefully tomorrow we can find out how Rockport-Fulton did against Goliad and get some updated standings.

I got some information from the Corpus Christi Caller/Times and I think the correct standings at District 30 AAA are now as follows:

1. Sinton at 7-1
2&3 tie Ingleside and Rockport-Fulton at 5-3 each.
4&5 tie Aransas Pass and Mathis at 3-5 each
6. Goliad at 1-7


Also the corrected schedule is as follows:

Ingleside at Rockport-Fulton
Aransas Pass at Goliad

Ingleside at Aransas Pass
Mathis at Rockport Fulton

Sinton has cinched at least a co-championship tie.
Ingleside, Rockport-Fulton, Mathis and Aransas Pass are in a fight to make the playoffs. Mathis and Aransas Pass both have shots but they will have to have help as well as win both of their remaining games. Every game is big. We will see what happens Friday.
