Finalist announced for SHS Athletic Director

Sweetwater Independent School District has announced the finalist for the Athletic Director/Head Football Coach at Sweetwater High School.
Shane Mobley, presently the Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at 5A Seguin High School, will be presented for approval to the SISD School Board on Monday evening.
Mobley coached at Sweetwater from 2004-2008, serving as the defensive coordinator. During his time there, SHS compiled a 41-12 record and a trip to the 2005 3A State Semi-Finals.
He has been an assistant at two different schools that won State Championships, 2A Sonora and 3A Propsper.
Coach Mobley is married to Tecka, formerly of Sweetwater. They have two children, Hannah in the fifth grade and Hunter in the seventh grade.
The board will vote to hire Mobley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 16. Coach Mobley will be present.

I like his pedigree--I think Sweetwater has made a good choice from what I am reading. Native son + success wherever he has coached. I wish this coach and the Mustangs luck, and a speedy return to the winning days of old.
