I've never heard of Kokernot field, but after reading this I'm ashamed to admit it. This place has a very rich heritage and great history to it. Great thread Mathew328!

Thanks Matt, great thread. I'm from West texas, and reading that article brought back memories that I had forgotten. Alot of history, and just being at the ballpark, you seem to feel the tradition that was created. I've seen my share of ballparks thru the years, but no ballpark that i've ever been to, touches the tradition at Alpine. Many thanks
