Financial security makes sense. Since FISD is broke they probably couldn't guarantee him anything past next year and probably weren't paying 90K.

I'd say Mansfield Timberview is also a better gig than North Forney also

Really? Looks to me like Tview is gonna get their teeth kicked in for the next 2 years. By the time they finally drop back to 4a, it'll be hard to get kids out to play.

North Forney's gonna get their teeth kicked in at the 4A level...TV will compete this year ok..remember the seniors and juniors who can play are going to stay..its the younger grades which will take the hit...2013 they'll struggle some as depth will be a big issue then... but one bad year won't keep kids from coming out, then in 2014 they are back to 4A

All I really know for NFHS is they have brand new facilites and can make the playoffs in this district. FISD is 13 mil in debt though. So that is a factor.

North Forney ain't making the playoffs next year...put it in six inch headlines boys..Highland Park is Highland Park.....Poteet is LOADED....West Mesquite was crazy young last year...Creekview was crazy young last year and Newman Smith will be WAY better..especially considering that RB transfer they got in...I can also promise Terrell's new coach will have them much more competitive.....

Team was going to have a tough time, even with Coach Brown there. Next year will be rough,no playoffs next year. They also graduated close to 20 seniors this year. The best candidate for the job should be the OC.
