Pilot Point junior, Matt Poursoltani benches the heaviest Texas high school bench ever at the state powerlifting meet this past Sat.
He did 590 at regionals and 570 at state. He is still recovering from ACL surgery in November. Totaled 1620 with a 550 squat and 500 deadlift. Bench record for all classes and all divisions.

That's insane, honestly how is a 16 or 17 year old kid that strong? I mean that's not normal at all. Does he play football I would think there is no time for anything else in his life other than lifting weights?
