i have not read anything final on this yet but I am reading where Alex Smith is visiting the Dolphins today. Thats a pretty good sign for the 49ers

Saw where Peyton had worked out for Broncos, Niners, and Titans. Alex Smith is unhappy about the Niners going after Peyton so he out there looking just in case they do sign him. Protecting his own assets so to speak. The Niners had offered Smith a 3 yr-$24 Million dollar contract before all of this. The Titans already signed Hutchinson to play guard. Hutch played with Peyton before. Not a bad recruiting tool. They also allowed they 2nd fewest sacks in the league last year protecting Hasselbeck. If Hasselbeck can get them to 9-7 with that team, what would Peyton do with them where he had a God-like status in that state? I could see him going to San Francisco where he would possibly have to battle Eli to get to the Super Bowl. But would not be surprised if he goes to Tennessee. I just don't see him going to Denver (except they are in the worst division in all of football). Plus, he could stick it to the Colts twice a year in Tennessee.
