Hunger Games

Looks like the "Hunger Games" phenom is sweeping over all the youth on the internet and everywhere else. Somebody want to tell this old guy what it is?

The Hunger Games is a dystopian novel based in the ruins of what was once North America. The fictional nation is divided into twelve districts run by a ruthless Capitol. Each year, the twelve districts send a teenage boy and girl, also known as tributes, to compete in a battle to the death that is televised across the districts.

I have not read the books, but my wife is hooked on them. I got her tickets to the IMAX showing of it next Saturday.
