I didn't actually witness it but a friend of mine's daughter was ejected from a basketball game for a flagrant foul against another friends daughter...and the ironic thing is these two dad's were teammates in college.

I saw one when I was covering a game for the Wharton Journal-Spectator-It was for throwing an elbow but it was not intentional in my opnion.

Not a girl, but I have seen her dad thrown out of the gym during a game! (Same dad was also thrown out of a peewee football game for marching from the stands onto the field to yell at the refs!) :rolleyes:

not hoops...but wasn't a player from West thrown out in the State Championship v. N..Lamar...two years ago.

I have seen a goalie ejected from a HS soccer game about a month ago. My daughter was red carded in select soccer last summer and had to sit out three games.

Yes. The pitcher's dad called for a bean ball on the umpire from behind the plate and when the pitcher threw the ball the catcher moved out of the way. All 3 got ejected and the dad was banned from UIL activities the rest of the way.

Do you remember when the whole gym had to be cleared in a girls game against needville?

A needville girl and a Wharton girl hit heads, both hustling for a lose ball in a very physical game. The needville girl got a pretty bad cut and her blonde hair turned red pretty quick. Her mom ran on to the court. Gets blood from her daughter, then slaps the ref with a bloody hand.

Gym was cleared with about a minute to go. The game went to OT.


Pretty strange.
