Congrats, Russ! Hope mom and baby doing well. His first word will probably be "mama" and his second--"War Eagle". Children are one of life's greatest blessings--I wish you all the joy that goes with it over the years.

Nothing like it in the world. The most beautiful blessing God gives us in my opinion. I remember when all 3 of my boys were born. Dont blink Russ. Dont blink.

Thanks, everyone. It's a pretty sweet deal, really. He was born two days before my 32nd birthday--best birthday present ever.

Momma's doing well, so is the baby. She's extra sleep deprived 'cause she's scared that he'll die of SIDS or climbing out of his bassinet and falling to a carpeted death (he's our first), but she's otherwise healthy.

I'll tell you what, I joke about how paranoid she is, but I wasn't expecting him to be able to roll over just yet. Was always told that doesn't come until later. Found out they were wrong when he rolled over on his changing table Sunday. Scared the hell out of me. My wife got the laugh on that one.

If what they say is true, he peaked at an early age.
