Ok--Who's faster than the East Texas kids? :D

The Bulls have a pretty good boy's relay team.

Anybody in 3A got anyone running 10.5 or better in the 100m?

Not on the HS level but I have to brag on the 7th graders that we have coming up the pipeline. Their 4x100 ran a 47.5 and was missing one of the four. 3 of the kids ran 4.8 40s during testing recently. That pretty dang fast for that young.

Wylie's Devon Brown ran a 10.52 at the Frenship meet a couple weeks ago. We'll have a sprint relay that'll have 4 guys that are sub 11, which is pretty rare for Wylie.

BEASTOur relay team ran high 45s to mid 46s in the 4x100 in JH. Sadly we regressed as only 1 or 2 of us got faster and the others kinda stayed the same

Wow thats is some serious speed out there for sure!! Including those 7 graders! Over here in Wimberley, we're not very fast but we certainly are slow. I think we will just make a few races at regional and then be looking for football.

One thing to remember about East Texas and even Central Texas speed compared to West and South Texas speed is this. Fast kids #1-5 may be about the same, but kid #6-30 are gonna be much faster in East and Central Texas. This is why comparing relay times can be misleading, only 4 run on a relay, but about 30 play in a football game.

True that Eagle, living proof of that in Wimberley. Our sprint relay runs about a 44, but the next 20 guys run about a 44. LOL.
