Are we still going to have the Championship weekends in Cowboy Stadium, may have already been posted, but I missed it! Thought that once realignment was done, we would know?

A few questions
I hate that never been to that statium .
Is it nice ?and its where the spurs play right?
Do they rotate every 2 yrs?
How does one play get it?

The stadium is pretty decent. The Spurs moved to the AT&T Center a few years ago, so no longer play there. It is the "home" of the UTSA Road Runners now.

Nothing has been set in stone, but the comment was made in December that it would "probably move south" next year. Compared to Jerryworld, the Alamodome is horrendous. Was never terribly nice to begin with, but now is waaaay outdated; plus the parking sucks! Methinks that this will be a 2 year deal at the absolute most and Jerryworld will be the mainstay afterwards.

I would bet that Reliant gets into the mix.

Not without turfing the field, which the organization has said thus far they would not do. No way the grass could hold up under that many games in one weekend.

I could see it only lasting one year. If we could read minds I bet they make that decision by halftime of the first game.

I hate the Alamodome! I would rather drive 6 hours to Arlington than 2 to San Antonio and watch games at the 'dome. :ack!:

I agree, the Alamodome is nasty to me. Along the lines of run down like Tx Stadium got, not that bad but close

I think it's always a 2 year deal.

just wondering when did you hear this? I believe the head grounds man is retiring...which I thought might open up the possibility of artificial stuff.

sorry this was supposed to be to Earnest quote about turf in houston.

I have to agree also. Never really like the Alamodome.

I'm sure after two years in their luxury boxes at Cowboys Stadium the UIL will make sure they can be back there after just one year.

Its a no brainer to say Cowboy Stadium, I agree too, but no matter where, I love the decision of all SC games at one site. Great deal for the big time HS football fan.

Now, if we could get Div 1 in the same pen with the rest...

UIL big wigs hang in the pressbox not the luxury boxes...but yes the Alamodome sucks

True , I forgot that. Maybe they need to give D-1 a bi week somewhere in there so All can play at same time

I have been in both stadiums, there is no comparison to Cowboys! Having the one site is this fan's dream, but I have to wonder, the Alamodone(sp correct) REALLY??
:ack!:
