We all know they will be a force in 3A basketball, but what about football? Anybody have the inside track on them?

They are usually decent in football. Really good athlete's. JR RB Arthur Lockett is their best player IMO. They will make the playoffs and face West Columbia in the first round more than likely.

Yeah they will make the playoffs and face Columbia in the first round. They certainly are not the same Jack Yates program from years past. HISD has not won a SC since Yates did in 1985 (that team was great) and that drought will continue in 3A.
