View Full Version : Please Pray for my Aunt

We just found out she has Cancer. She is 59. We are not sure which kind just yet.

She had been complaining of her stomach hurting and bloating. Last week they drained off 20lbs of fluid. She has cancerous cells but we are not sure if it is ovarian or not until the doctors at MD Anderson in Houston find where the fluid is coming from.

She begin's Chemo when they can find the source.

Just like the old saying, thing's happen in three's. This makes #2. I don't think we can take 3:crying:

Me too. And be encouaged because medicine has advanced and they can do lots of things to help they couldn't do even five years ago.

oh dear - prayers they caught it in time and she's able to make a complete recovery!

Thank you to everyone for the prayers. They moved her to St Lukes now but we have to wait until Monday to find out anything.

The Latest

The doctors said there is no way to find the source of the fluid unless they do exploratory surgery. She has to do chemo starting Wed every two weeks and is being sent home with the equipment to drain the fluid off of her body. My Uncle is really having a hard time please pray for him as well.

The Doctors are giving my Aunt a 75% chance of survival the normal percentage is 80%.

I know this similar circumstance firsthand. My son and I will pray for your Aunt and Uncle. God be with them and touch them with his healing hand.
