Apparently he's a finalist for the Denison job or so I was told.

Coach Rogers is a finalist at Denison....along with two other really good coaches...Denison in the end wins because they'll get a hell of a coach

If I am not mistaken both Danny in off season and his brother now live in DFW area, so it makes since that Coach Amendola might want to move into DFW area, plus he would be AD of a ISD and not just a school.

Snyder coach Chad Rogers confirmed today that he will be going to Denison. Offical announcement is Monday in Denison.

Was this a money move, career progression?? Why was Rogers dissatisfied, I thought Snyder and Rogers were in lock step! Looked from here to be a solid and upcoming program. Best wishes to Rogers and Snyder!

I don't believe it was a money move..my guess is Coach Rogers who is from Durant and still has family there wanted to be closer to his family

Thanks Matt! Seemed he had a pretty good ride going out west, but guess things will be better in Dennison. Maybe drinking that sweetwater in west texas didn't agree with his system. Aw well, things happen!

Doug Dennison used to play for the Cowboys and you spell his name that way but in De"N"ison Texas, you spell it differently.
