Don't eat at Pappadeaux - I got food poisoning at the one in Albuquerque. That was over 10 years ago but still, fool me once...

I always liked the Green Chili Cheeseburgers. Don't remember where but they were all good.

Blake's Lotaburger (locations all over the state) has the best green chile cheeseburgers.

Church Street Cafe in Old Town has some of the best New Mexican food in town.

Monte Carlo (on Central Ave. west of the Rio Grande River) has great beef and Mexican food.

Frontier Restaurant (across from UNM on Central) has some funky clientele but has the world's best cinnamon rolls and green chile stew!!

As far as tourist sites there is Old Town, the Sandia Peak Tramway (great view but may be a little cold with ski season on) adn MANY Indian casinos in the area.

Have a fun and safe trip!!

Avoid the impulse to take a drive to Santa Fe. Be very careful with any tequila that sits at the top of the Tequila Tree or has been made from cactus mashed on the tighs of virgins.

Old Tiger -- It's always Hatch green chile season in the Q. lol

The best time to buy green chile fresh is in late August through September.
