Weimar is usually pretty good.

Very talented team Weimar has. They'll be a deep run playoff team.

Yoakum still trying to get things together. Too many miscues currently that will be lined out. Too many errors in last weeks tourney, booted it a few times in opening game yesterday coupled with some base running mistakes. It will come around. Deepest/talented team ever and 8 pitchers have been used to date. Coach is finding all the pieces and preparing for what lies down the road.

LaGrange tourney next week might be a good first measuring stick where we are at.

SHS, ya'lls boys sure sound very impressive.

Well thank you, our boys are pretty solid but we are replacing a good group of seniors. Pitching is our strength IMO, but we can still hit the long ball (10 through 7 games that I know of) 2 of our Big Bats haven't warmed up yet. It was nice to get a tough win over 5A #10 Houston Westside. We still have work to do but I think Coach Carter will get everything going by the playoffs.

We will be very strong for years to come as our LL program battles Lamar LL every year. Our 10-11 year old select team is ranked number one in the nation and we are very solid through high school.

Well done LaGrange. Very strong team with 3 solid's ace's (best lefty I've seen in years). Solid stick's and defense is sound. Deep run team here for sure. See ya this weekend H&L at my favorite tournament.

Not knocking our pitchers last night because they did all we needed them to do to win but the Lefty that started is our No. 5 starter and the releif pitcher is one of our JV pitchers, our No. 2 and 3 starters did not pitch in the tournament at all. Hopefully they will be both ready to go for our Tourney this coming weekend, we are starting to jell as a team. A good sign.

Very impressive LaGrange team I must say H&L. With those above average arms ya'll have, should be a very successful year for ya. Yoakum must find another arm or two to go with Hunter.

That lefty that threw a no-no on Friday is your #5? Wow!!!! Hit 86 on the gun. Consistent 84. With a 20 mph difference on his off speed pitches which made him more impressive IMO.

Thanks for the compliments, no the lefty that threw the no-no is our #1, the lefty that started against you guys is our #5 pitcher, one thing for sure is that your dugout is loud and into the game for the entire game. Good luck to you guys as well.

We all know along with most anyone who has seen us play Wick is no number 5 pitcher, he is number 1 without a doubt. I was referring to our lefty starter last night and our releif pitcher also, Yes Yoakum will need to find some better arms to compete down the road into the playoffs. As a team they seemed to be very small , guess small may be their game. See you guys in LG.

Yoakum don't have power for sure, but--we can contact the ball better than we have and use speed on the bath paths. One thing we better do, is shore up our defense and make the routine play consistently. And yes, find another reliable arm or two for the bump, is paramount.
