You can get AT&T High speed at 6mbps for $19.95 for 12 months. After that I think its like $40

We can only get 3G speed here in Hungerford since there is no 4G tower near Wharton
I tried AT&T for one day and it was too slow and had disconnects

Do you live in an area where you cannot get DSL at all? If so, I would give them a try, since all other options usually lead to.....satellite internet.

Can't get DSL in Hungerford- Tried Wild Blue Satellite and it was terrible with slow speed and disconnects-Heard Hughes Net is just as slow.

We had Wild Blue as well....not any better here. Verizon usually has more reliable service/connections in this area. I personally have AT&T. It is very good in major cities, but lacks in town such as Cameron and Rockdale.

The closest G4 speed to Wharton is in Rosenberg-Richmond area-Now sure if El Campo gets 3G or 4G

I still havent' decided if I will stick my current ISP or go with Skynet

I hate dealing with a lot of buffering and not enough bandwidth for You Tube with my current ISP- 3MBs for the same price would be great. Hate to change our email address because of all the hastle. Also really can't afford the $139 installation fee

We had Sprint before AT&T. Just basic service from both here. Can you get 3G in Cameron from Verizon, I don't even know?

I've had AT&T for several years, and overall I'm very happy with the total cost, total services, and quality.
