Tell is aabut Prime Prep Academy. Is that Deion's new private school in Dallas, and if so what do we know about their football program?

I wouldn't count on it. Besides, you don't know what kind of size may show up on their lines. Or the calibur of athletes. But you can be certain they will draw some good ones. The entire Dallas zone is absolutely humongous. They WILL have some athletes, both at the skilled positions and the lines. What are the rules governing this type of "recruitment", anyway? Help us out there, Matt.

Oh, geez. What district are they gonna be in, anyway? Will this be a District 12 team, taking Ranchview's place? And will they be D1 or D2???

Now the question to ask is how many athletes will be pulled from other schools that have good teams. And what effect will that have on the 3a schools in Dallas like Hutchins, Roosevelt, and Madison? And what about those schools basketball programs??? Madison and Hutchins are real perennial contenders each year for the Region 2 championship title. This will have an effect on both basketball and football. Yippee for Argyle in basketball. Breaking up the old District 12 stronghold will make the region more wide open for the title.

This is all brand new territory..no one is really sure how it will all play out..I'd speculating on what kinds of kids they have, what the UIL rules are with this etc...bottom line is I got nothing

Did they think anyone bought that sales pitch for academics? It will be a football/basketball factory. It will take a few years of under achieving academics and UIL violations before it gets shut down.

I feel bad for all those kids that are about to be exploited. As you can see Slime Time and his partners are already double dipping. I met him at a Cowboy game and with in 5 minutes he was trying to get me to invest 50k into some scam he had running. Needless to say I passed. He must of thought he was talking to someone else, cause you can't get blood from a stone.

Yeah, they will get their 15 minutes of fame on ESPN, however they will struggle to spell ESPN. This will not end well...

Now back to our regularly scheduled thread... Good luck to Navasota to with Prime Prep!!!

Too bad the Week 5 Navasota vs. Sweeny game didn't work out:crying: I really wanted to see it.

I honestly would take Sweeny as a non-district matchup any time. Good history there, as Navasota and Sweeny had some big time playoff battles back in the day.

District Policy kept it from happening.
