Don't woory excardMOM, Bridge City stated out in the 11th place and has moved down in three re-writes to #17 so that they could stick more teams out of Region III into their covented spots. Two more re-analysis and we will be out of the top 25!... It sure was nice being in the top 8 bracket teams last season and also top 4 bracket teams in the previous season in Division I. Bridge City did not warrant the nod-- by these same fortune-tellers those two seasons either...its all politics!

yeah, forney's gonna win state next year once our players let go of the past. we can get past being the 2nd in football for the past 3 seasons and in baseball for the past 4 seasons.

our players have got to step up their mental preparation in order to win. we've got the talent and support of a winning team. now its time to put everything together.

Old Cardinal why are you upset the people from La Grange are the ones that should be upset at the polls.La Grange plays tough football they won my respect when they played Bay City for two years and played them tough.Bridge City needs to play some top 4a teams like Nederland & West Orange Stark and i think this will help them come playoff time.

Well, maybe Coach Tarver will try to schedule some this year. We did play Newton last year, and got a wake up call. I expect it to be harder for our guys this year. We may not win district, but we will be in one of the playoff spots.

Hey bc... is Wharton going to have as much talent as they did last year? I know they get Kellen Heard back, but when you lose players like Washington, Phynon and some of those other guys it has to be tough to replace them. Last year you had as much talent than any other 3A team I saw, including Burnet, Jasper and Sinton. Are you guys reloading or what? You'd have to be the only D-I team in Region IV that I could see giving Burnet a run for their money... at least this early in the game.

Wharton should be ok,again like i said before it all going to come down to dicipline this team has what it takes to win.The defense will be tough to run on with kids like ,k heard 6-6 330 4.9,jthompson 6-2 350,d doggins 6-3 200 4.6 d edwards 6-2 265 4.8 lots of size,on offense they have t.jones 5-11 180 4.7 has a pretty good arm but i see Wharton running the ball more this year,and giving it to r hudson 5-10 175 4.3,with that kind of talent you would say they could give rice cons. a run for dist title.
