Yeah YTB, that Giants DL will be the difference in the game. Also, how much will Gronkowski play for N.E.? How effective will he be?

I'm pulling for the Pats, but Eli gets his second ring tonight. Hope I'm wrong.

I agree Giants will win in a close thrilling game. I just hope it isn't decided by a mistake by the officials or one of the teams making a silly mistake near the end.

I'm still undecided, it will be a game time decision for me.

New England by 12 only because NY scores in 4th qt.

The Giants are on a roll, but I think that advantage can now be put to bed. They look to have all the ingredients to win it all. The Pats have Brady and his recievers, and seem to rise to these occasions. It's really a tough pick, when you analyze it. I'm gonna go with Manning and the Giants just because they have the running game to control the ball and offset blitzing Eli.

Giants only because they are the NFC. I like New Englands team but not Belicheat. I just hope it is a great game.

Going for the Giants. Tom Coughlin is a great coach and has his team on a roll right now.
I have nothing against the Patriots except I too don't like Belicheat.

I hope they remember there is a game to play. :)

A promising start by NY but they let it get bogged down by sacks.

Wow...

C'mon Brady.

New England probably has shifted the momentum strongly in their favor now that they are ahead before halftime. The first five minutes of the second half may determine. A rout may be starting.

Not rout will occur tonite Phil. Both of these teams are very complete, with few holes. Mental mistakes, penalties, and turnovers are the only variables here. Other than that, it will be which D can stop the other's O the most, or who has the ball last.

I must say I'll have to give that halftime show a 5 star rating. It was really entertaining, and well-performed.

Great drive by the Pats.

Rout may be starting. I want the Giants to win I admit but I'm not going to lose any sleep over this no matter which way it goes. Giants need to respond on next possession.

Big drive for the Giants coming up. Let's see if they respond.

I think it's just going to be very hard to beat Brady for the second time. I know that has nothing to do with stats or how both defenses are doing but, you know that Brady is going to do everything in his power to keep Manning from having two on him.

I got to admit NY has kept it close but now what I am afraid that it is going to wind up being the old story that field goals don't count as much as tds.

Phil C
02-05-2012, 09:20 PM
Man nothing on the last drive and Giants waste a time out. Poor time management by Giants could also be costly. They need a big break to win this game I fear.

Phil C
02-05-2012, 09:25 PM
Injuries are also starting to be a factor for the Giants in the late stages. Still a gallient effort by both teams and it looks like it is going to be a good but not great game.

Roughneck93
02-05-2012, 09:32 PM
That was a huge drop by Welker.

Phil C
02-05-2012, 09:39 PM
It looks like I am wrong. This may be a great ending. Giants need to get a td and not leave much time on the clock. Of course this is even more critical if they have to settle for a field goal and one point lead.

regaleagle
02-05-2012, 09:41 PM
The Giants will have to milk the clock if they want to secure the win. You have to give them the field goal.

02-05-2012, 09:42 PM
Should have stayed in bounds, but I think the Giants will win anyway

Phil C
02-05-2012, 09:46 PM
Giants ahead but that td may have been a bonehead play because it gives NE a chance to win with a td and with a time out.

Did the Giants purposely have 12 men on the field with so little time left, knowing it would burn the clock and only cost them 5 yards????

A very good game indeed as Giants got away with a blunder near the end but their defense hangs on.

I wondered the same thing. If so, it was a pretty slick move.

that was a real good trade off. 9 or 10 seconds for 5 yards. if thats the case, is it wrong to put out 13 people on Defense, double cover everyone and kill the next play too?

Rules Question- in HS isnt playing with 12 a 15 yard penalty not just 5?

Over all - great game. I thought the giants would win and was pulling for wes welker and the patriots. Too bad Wes had that drop....very costly.

Best halftime show I have seen in years! I watched the entire thing and still missed the gal shooting the finger, lol.

Loved the Doritos commercial with the dog. The other one with the grandma and the baby was good too.:)

I really didn't want the Giants to win *sigh*

My favorite commercials were:

#1 - Doritos "You didn't see nuthin"
#2 - Sketchers
#3 - M&M

I think godaddy.com needs to be banned from future Super Bowls :ack!:
