Who has some of the top girl programs in region 1 3A? Sville typically has a strong girls vball, soccer, and bball program. The softball program made the playoffs for the first time last year.

Not my region, but I'd vote for Abilene Wylie.

Liberty Hill is usually competitive. Also Lubbock Cooper is strong in softball this year.

Mineral Wells has good Softball & Soccer teams. The girls basketball program could possibly rebound as their 8th grade team is something like 15-1. They have two players that could start at the Varsity level next year as freshman.

Volleyball program is new but made regional tourney in 2009 and state tourney in 2010 and 2011.

Basketball made state final game in 2010. Won state title in 2011 and have won 49 consecutive district games as of last night.

Monahans has a very impressive volleyball history.

Liberty Hill girls always seem to be in the mix.
