Yeah I'd say three 4A's plus Liberty Eylau and Kaufman is more than a "solid" pre district, lol. I like it but a few folks around town will not be happy with ending the Van/Grand Saline rivalry which is currently at 85 straight games. I've been told that is the 3rd longest in Texas.

Very good schedule. Tough, but it will have you more than prepared for district. As for not playing GS, this has not been a competitive game in a while. Getting your doors blown off does nothing for your morale, and winning by 35+ opening week against a weak team does not give a true indication of where you are. If GS becomes more competitive then this rivalry could be renewed. I could see this being an opening scrimmage where the reps for #1's is less and thus could be beneficial to establish better depth.

Lindale to start the season should be fun.

More than happy to be playing 16-3A in round 1. You have to play them sometime. I just hope it's Gilmer, I feel pretty good about our chances in that one :-)
