Heard 3rd hand, so may not be reliable - non-district: Argyle, Bridgeport, Graham, Brownwood, & Estacado

And that's the sad part about Far West Texas and realignment. Anthony opted up again. But, these teams would struggle to make the playoffs in 2A and their reward for making it to week 11 for the next two years will be getting blown out by whoever makes it there from our district.

Week 7 is Monahans @ Wylie

That is welcome news! Hoping to hear next that Wylie is hosting Midland and Big Spring as well, but that is probably too much to ask!

Saw where Wylie is hosting Sweetwater in week 10, so the rest could be out of town. Not sure when our schedule will be released. Has anyone seen Snyder's, Big Spring's, or Greenwood's?

Still nothing official, but if hearsay is correct:

Week 6: @ Big Spring
Week 7: Monahans
Week 8: @ Midland Greenwood
Week 9: @ Snyder
Week 10: Sweetwater

Still have not seen an official schedule, but believe this is correct. If so, ~1,200 miles of travel - not even close to the 1,900 for Monahans:

Week 0: @ Argyle
Week 1: Bridgeport
Week 2: Graham
Week 3: @ Brownwood
Week 4: Lubbock Estacado
Week 5: Open
Week 6: @ Big Spring
Week 7: Monahans
Week 8: @ Midland Greenwood
Week 9: @ Snyder
Week 10: Sweetwater

It takes me right at 2 hrs. to get from Argyle to Abilene. That's a pretty consistent time frame. On Friday, there is traffic bottle-necked at 820 and 35N, but it shouldn't be too bad coming from the west. Once you get past the Decatur exit, things will move better.
