District 24-3A

WC
Sweeny
Stafford
LaMarque
Houston Kipp
Houston Sunnyside

Stafford has the largest enrollment, WC 2nd biggest.

Stafford is not going to make the playoffs most likely so WC will be heading D1 again most likely...

Oh and we're region 3 this time, not 4. So we're going east come playoff time, not south.

We'll get the winners of the HISD district in bi-district (yates in basketball - loss.... but should be gimme wins in football).... but then we go towards Coldspring/WO-S/Silsbee, etc.

Gonna be fun guys.

Yep. Three team district if you ask me.

I looked at Houston Sunnyside webpage and they only show 9th-10th grade. We can only have one close away game also and that would be Sweeny and just when my boy goes to the 9th grade this coming year we lose Surv. And get into this district.

Not good...Could we not get Wharton or Needville to give us that 5th district game?

Any idea what our non district schedule might be? Brazosport, Bay City? I'm sure we can add Wharton and Needville??

Non-district scheduling will be both tough and interesting. D 25-3A has 7 teams and Bay City and Brazosport have a 7 team district.

This is the weirdest district I've ever seen the Necks in. Columbia is in region III & Needville, which is 20 miles North of WC is in Reg IV. Columbia has to drive north through Needville to get to Stafford. WTH?

You can turn off in Guy and take Crabb River Road by Richmond George Ranch High School to get on 59.

Only bad thing I see about this District is being in Region III instead of Region IV.

How about 2 of our district games being played in half empty stadiums (assuming Kipp has a stadium & not some church yard with temporary goalpost), or the possibility of getting stabbed or punched in the eyeball at another district game...

Houston KIPP Sunnyside plays football, the other doesn't. I googled where Sunnyside is downtown the school is on MLK a few blocks from UH Between Yellowstone, OST and Griggs.

Houston KIPP (Basketball only) is on the Southwest part of Houston just outside the Beltway.

I found this

F.U.N Stadium @ Bayland Park

http://www.texasbob.com/stadium/stadium.php?id=1085

Grass field with 2,000 seat capacity. There are gonna be a lot of MAD Sweeny and WC fans if they go to the game and see the small stadium.

No $hit. What a mess. Only thing i like about it is going north in playoffs instead of south.
