IT was really hard to concentrate on our game, not knowing what was going on in Burnet...but I'm sure it was a hard fought game.....

it was predictable - marlin already had a LOSING record and was without their best player, or one of their best .... plus I was told the HUGE crowd did not happen either - my son was there ands said there was empty spots in the home stands, where he sat -

then again - the high scoring shootout i attended never materialized either ... forney scored at will in the fist half and put crandall away early

I too noticed that the crowd wasn't as large as it was all hyped up to be. We had read in the paper they were expecting some 4000 to 6000 from Marlin, plus Burnet's regular 7500 to 8000. It looked like around 8000 to 8500 total. I didn't see a single spot in the stands that were empty except for those of us who are forced to buy season tickets for our teenaged kids who never sit with us anyway. . . but it wasn't as huge as it "supposed to be" last night! THe game though- now that was huge! :D

I liked the folks in the dog pound, the guys hanging on the fence and shaking it as the burnet players were come from the locker room on to the field.oh, the burgers were great.
