I said it months ago..the UIL is going to stretch 3A as much as they can to force two divisons like they have in other classes( and should have in 3A)

Yo Greendawg...where we at?....didn't Burnet have 961 last year? I'm sure our numbers have increased......Are we headin' to 4A??.....answer me Greendawg....i'm stressin'......:ack!:

No 4A for the Dawgs , I think they truned in 972 , or there abouts. So no more stressin' , you are getting to old for that! I read something the other day that said we have not grown , but actually lost a few kids from last time.

On another note , that should be a very interesting cutoff number for Lampasas. If they go 4A that will put them in district with the Killeen schools again .....

Have to correct myself.... 956 for Burnet 979 for Lampasas , so looks like both are safe in the 3A ranks for 2 more years.

435 to 989 would mean that the numbers stayed exactly the same. It wouldn't surprise me at all.

I don't think this effects any of the schools dropping down to 2A that were forecast, or those moving up from 2A. I think the only real changes will occur at the top number... those dropping down from 4A or those moving up to 4A. Am I right on this?

All I know is this would keep Kilgore in 4A and then probably Carthage would be added back into District 16-3A. I was already getting used to thinking of Kilgore as being in our district. Last time the Bulldogs played Gilmer the Bux hung 70 on them.

Yeah, really. Like we already need another perennial playoff contender like a Kilgore in Region II. I think we have the region loaded for bear as it is. Geez, I think we may have dodged a silver bullet there.

If that's the case then there is a 99.9 percent chance that FF will agree with Carl Padilla in that the the high/low cutoffs stay the same.

Yep, sorry for the mistake...National Signing Day today.
BTW, I saw 3 Devine kids (OL- man, safety, and TE) at Southwest Oklahoma State University over the weekend...quite a haul for those kids. They said that JS was there midweek for an "official Visit" (he was taking the SAT on Saturday).

Regarding Tatum's enrollment, I just looked this up on another site.

Tatum turned in 448, up from 421 last time around. Welcome back to 3A, Eagles.

Check out the Hodges, Smiths, Greers, Hortons, Bells, and Centers kids coming up together on this years 8th and 9th grade teams. If you will remember the Tatum 9th grade gave Gilmer a 45 to 0 spanking this year.

Yadda...Yadda...Yadda...let's face it...the Bux own Tatum...hate to bust yo' bubble...we had decimated the 9th grade team with three on the varsity & several more on JV (some of those went to The Show)...Please note that the Bux take a State Crown every 5 years...2004...2009...2014...perhaps Tatum can look forward to 2015.
