Was flipping thru the DirecTV channels and stopped on a series called "Shameless" starring William Macy---Oh my! It definitely was shameless...funny, but not your average family fare to say the least...

There are a lot of good cable shows out there these days. I have always wanted to tune into "Shameless" but still haven't done it. In fact, there are too many shows that I want to watch, but who has time? My poor DVR is at its limit! LOL. Hell, I still have the last 3 seasons of Heroes on DVR and I STILL haven't sat down to watch them. LMAO

I really wanted to tune into "Homeland" but just couldn't commit to another series. :nerd: I'm kicking myself since everyone seems to really like it. Oh well....when it is out on DVD I'll probably buy it.

The whole premise of the show is that the family from youngest to oldest is morally bankrumpt and will do anything for a dollar. Somehow the writers make it hilarious, but it is sure is some rough viewing for the straight-laced or sensitive.

Just to clarify, the kids dont want to be that way, but because of the Dad they are forced to live that way

I really enjoy watching Person of Interest. Good show. That and NCIS are my top two.
