Fielder and Cabrera in the middle of that lineup will be scary. And imagine if Martinez can come back healthy in 2013.

I think the American League championship just got a lot harder to win for the Rangers, and everybody else, with Fielder going to Detroit. The Tigers were already a solid team, and a player or two away last year. So Prince will follow in his father's footsteps now, and be a Tiger until he retires most likely. I was really hoping he would go somewhere else......but.......I certainly hope Yu becomes a solid ace, 'cause the Rangers passed on a good one in Fielder.

I love it. I knew Dombroski would do something. But, from what I had read he didn't have many options. One that was reported was to sign Vladimar Guererro and that would've been a huge step backwards.

Credit Mike Illitch, 83 year old owner of Little Caesar's pizza, the Tigers and the Red Wings. I guess he's decided at this point in his life., that he wants to see Detroit win a World Series before he moves on and is opening up the check book to make that happen.

I for one can't wait for the baseball season to start and that goes for all levels.
